I have been supervised by Janis since January 2017, and I have to say it has been an absolute joy! Janis provides the essentials in supevision in terms of considering the therapeutic skills, intervensions, the therapeutic relationship and exploration. Not only this, but she is extremely encouraging and one of the most down-to-earth people I have met. My wife and I have two daughters, ages 14 and 11. Last year, our eldest admitted to having dark thoughts, so we sought help and found Janis. Initially, our daughter was skeptical, saying, 'These meetings will never work.' But over months of weekly sessions, the transformation was incredible. The whole family learned the value of open communication, spending time together, and truly listening. It’s surprising how much of a difference these simple things can make.
